Everyday acts of kindness deliver life-changing support across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
The APCO Foundation has once again proven that small acts of kindness can make a big difference, with the 2026 Kindness Month campaign raising an incredible $238,011.17 to support individuals, families and community projects experiencing hardship.
Held throughout July across all 30 APCO Service Station locations, Kindness Month brought together generous matching partners, dedicated APCO store teams, suppliers and thousands of customers in a shared mission to help those who need it most.

Through the purchase of Kindness Hearts, Cups of Kindness, Foundation products and donations made both in-store and online, communities rallied behind the campaign to achieve this outstanding result.
Every in-store donation was doubled by the Foundation’s generous matching partners, helping kindness go even further and ensuring more people can access support when they need it most.
Behind the celebration is a simple mission. The APCO Foundation gives fast, practical financial support to individuals and families facing crisis.
“While others take weeks or months to process applications, we act within days,” says APCO Foundation Chairperson Sharon Gleeson.

“We’re the Foundation for people who fall through the cracks.
The elderly pensioner who can’t afford rent, the young mum fleeing family violence, families facing unexpected illness.
Kindness Day is our way of celebrating every person who makes that work possible.”
APCO Service Stations Director Rob Anderson says the Foundation reflects what the family business has always believed.
“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together.

Our stores have always been part of their local communities, and Kindness Month is a wonderful reminder of what can happen when people come together for a common cause.”
“To every customer who bought a Kindness Heart, grabbed a Cup of Kindness, donated at the counter or supported the campaign in any way, thank you.
Your generosity will have a lasting impact on people who need support the most.”

This year’s campaign was also supported by APCO Foundation ambassadors Amy McDonald and her son Freddie, whose own experience receiving Foundation support highlighted the importance of providing immediate assistance to families facing unexpected challenges.
