Looking to stand out from the Convenience Store crowd?

Jeff Rogut

Is your business looking to stand out from the crowd with new, innovative products that you may have a hand in developing?

A unique opportunity awaits – and all it will initially cost….is your time.

The Food Innovation Centre at Monash Uni is looking for some of our  members who’d like to associate with them :

  • participate into a pitch night where they can hear about the new businesses and their offers (around an experiential dinner) – including their feedback
  • offer to the participants they feel good about a leg up in ranging 5 to 10 stores in Greater Melbourne for a few months so they can get going with direct market acces

The  first cohort would be ready to deliver early Feb.

The cohort started on Sept 11 and will go on until December 4th or 11th. They come in every Mondays for their accelerator day and then work the rest of the week on their to dos !

You would be welcome at the Clayton Campus of the University to be shown around [I will facilitate that for you]  around as well as discuss the ins and outs of what the opportunities might be.

They are also planning a pitch night with experiential dinner on the 5th or 7th of December and we’d like all partners to come along if possible.

A quick snapshot of Spring Crop 17:

There are eleven (11) start-ups with three (3) from regional Victoria including Nulla Vale (near Kyneton), Kerang (near Shepparton), and Jindivick (near Warragul).

  • 50/50 gender split amongst the entrepreneurs
  • 4 food product ideas, including 2 artisanal, and 1 for pets
  • 3 agricultural waste product re-use ideas, including 2 ingredients and 1 building material
  • 3 food service ideas, using innovative subscription-based delivery models

You will have the opportunity of seeing the new products and ideas for the first time and maybe getting an edge on your competitors!

Also, see the brochure attached to gain an idea how the FIC may benefit your business exclusively – innovation and speed to market could be yours.
