We visited a couple of AA Stores in Melbourne in the early hours of Friday morning with the leader of the Opposition, Matthew Guy and a Channel 7 reporter.
Matthew took up the challenge I threw out to politicians, police etc to spend time in a store to see what actually happens. Matthew pledged his support for additional crime deterrents if they win office and spoke of his concern about the escalation of crime in Victoria and particularly against our industry. The Opposition has previously declared that if they win office the will declare petrol theft which costs our industry approx. $66m annually, a crime as an additional deterrent.
We welcome the terrific support shown by Matthew Guy and the Opposition for our industry.
