In order to get free food or drinks for a year, there’s usually a bunch of fine print or some sort of competition. Thankfully, 7-Eleven is making it easy, because you can get unlimited refills for all of 2020 with the purchase of one of these cups.
On sale online for today only, these reusable Tervis cups each correspond with one of 7-Eleven’s iconic beverages. There’s a Big Gulp, a Slurpee, and a coffee cup to choose from—but choose wisely, because the free refills perk only works for the beverage that corresponds with the cup.
Each cup has a code on it that will be used at checkout in order to ring up your refill as totally free of charge, according to the press release. The cups retail for about $129; I’m not a math person but if you were to go to 7-Eleven for a morning cup of coffee everyday, you’d be getting your money’s worth and then some.
The cups are made with only the biggest 7-Eleven fans in mind, as per a statement made by 7-Eleven Director of eCommerce Rebecca Troutman. “This a first for 7-Eleven. These limited-edition stainless steel, vacuum insulated cups are a cut above our standard everyday cups and are designed to be collector’s items,” she said: “All of our 7-Eleven beverages have enthusiastic fans who are regulars at our stores–some daily or even several times a day.”
There were 50 of each cup up for grabs, and…they sold out in 30 minutes. That’s 150 lucky people that got their hands on one of these cups and snagged free 7-Eleven refills for 2020. Who knows—maybe they’ll be generous and sell a few more of these limited-edition cups or at the very least bring this promo back for 2021. A girl can dream!
