We often talk about innovation and commitment to a category, and I am pleased to feature one of our Members, Nu-Pure beverages who are a growing and innovative supplier to our channel. As was highlighted in our recent ‘State of the Industry’ report, Beverages is a major, profitable and growing category for convenience stores and with developments such as these with Nu-Pure it is great to see new products coming through to support customer demand.

Here’s the updated Nu-Pure Story:

Business Overview:

Nu-Pure is a 100% Australian owned company trading nationally for 6 years. We currently have the third (3rd) largest volume spring water brand NU in the Australian route market (turning over 35-40 million units per annum) behind Mt Franklin/Frantelle.

Our SQUARE product range has differentiated us to the traditionally commodity driven round bottle offers, all of our NU brands (390ml-1.5ml) will be in SQUARE bottle configurations which has proven to be very successful .

Blow Fill Overview:

Current research indicates the bottled water market in Australia is looking for environmentally friendly products & light weight PET solutions which our New complete Krones/Kosme blow-fill production line will enable us to offer all Majors throughout Australia.

Nu-Pure’s new blow-fill line is the latest global technology in bottled water manufacturing. This new line will allow us to blow our own bottles, fill, cap, label, pack & palletize fully automatically. This technology will also significantly reduce our carbon footprint. Nu-Pure will be only the 3rd manufacturer – CCA, Mountain H20(Asahi) using this technology in Australia. This line will be operating in our new purpose built state of the art 6,000 sqm manufacturing /warehousing facility located at Stapylton (half way between Brisbane & Gold Coast). This facility will have the capacity to warehouse approx 5,000 pallets.

Nu-Pure Manufacturing Capability:

New blow-fill production line can produce a further 40 million units per annum across all packs – total capacity 100 million units.
