Metro Fuels has launched their new Product Discovery box, in an industry first initiative to create a more inclusive approach to product ranging.
The program is 100% Metro branded and only promotes products from partners either engaged or looking to engage in the Metro business.
Powered by Stock Box, Metro members have an opportunity to try and test physical samples of product for range inclusion. Member feedback provides Metro with clarity around potential product up-take making the ranging decision a little easier for their management team.
Product partners benefit from faster ranging decisions and a better take-up rate if their products are endorsed by the greater Metro membership.
For Stock Box it is an opportunity to engage with more product partners and showcase the benefits of the greater Stock Box program creating a win-win-win for all parties.
Acting like a third party category manager, the program provides Metro with another set of eyes on their business at no additional cost, creating a 360-degree view of market ranging opportunities.
Reciprocal benefits with Stock Box means that Metro members also enjoy opportunities to be first to market, which is already being realised with the introduction in the very first box of a product that has recently been accepted into the 2018 range for US giant “Whole Foods”.
Stock Box will be conducting a number of coffee catch-ups in Sydney on the 23rd & 24th August for suppliers and groups interested in understanding how the program can work for them.
