JB Metropolitan Distributors Expands into Adelaide Market

JB Metropolitan Distributors are pleased to announce the acquisition of Adelaide wholesaler B&F Distributors.
JB Metropolitan Distributors is a long regarded and well respected wholesale business that has been in existence for 33 years. The business started from the garage of the family home of the owner Bruce Spiteri in Sydney and has made the transition to become a leading confectionery, snack food, grocery and beverage distribution company with state-of-the-art systems.
B&F Distributors is a long standing South Australian owned and operated wholesale business, which earlier in the year completed the renovation of their extended warehouse to double the capacity to service their extensive customer base including P&C, School and Workplace Canteens, Kiosks and Pubs.
Both businesses are members of The Distributors group.
Bruce Spiteri, Managing Director, JB Metropolitan said “At JB Metro, we pride ourselves on our customer service and reliability, so much so the business has won many awards.”
“We have won Distributor of the year from The Distributors many times, Caltex award for best in service and AACS Distributor of the year as a key member of The Distributors group. These awards are voted on by customers.”
JB Metropolitan intends to bring this same level of service and professionalism to Adelaide.
“We will maintain all the staff from B&F Distributors which we feel will lead to a smooth transition,” said Mr Spiteri.

The business will now be known as JB Metropolitan Adelaide and all existing accounts will be honoured.
