He was beaten and called out for his daughter who worries they will return
The thugs are likely to have committed another violent robbery in late June
A brave young girl ran to her father’s aid after hearing him scream for help as he was being attacked by four men inside his store.
Shocking footage shows the moment Shaoming Wang, 54, was ambushed by the group who stormed into his Melbourne store in late June.
The violent thugs can be seen repeatedly striking him before stashing cigarettes into a doona cover.
Mr Wang managed to fight back against the men and armed himself with a knife before he chased them out of the store.
His terrified daughter Sofia then heard the screams and rushed to help.
‘I was feeling scared and I heard my dad calling for me so I quickly ran outside,’ his she told 9 News.
‘I’m just scared that they might come back and do something worse than that.’
The gang of four men are believed to be linked to another violent hold up at a convince store north of Melbourne a week earlier.
The men can be seen charging into the store, with one man armed with a golf club jumping on the counter.
The thug screamed at a terrified shopkeeper and hit her with a knife.
‘Grab the till … I’m going to kill you, I’m going to kill you,’ the thief screamed.
‘Put it in, put it in, put it in before I smack you. All of it.’
Another one of the thieves chased the shop keeper’s husband down through the attached house,
He hid behind a curtain while a grandmother and two children were inside.
Police are now on the lookout for the men who they believe are likely to rob another store.
During the robberies they escaped in a Lexus SUV and a silver Holden Commodore wagon.
