Coles missing from Pringles’ product launch

Coles is missing-in-action from Pringles’ latest limited edition product launch, which will see Chicken Salt and Meat Pie flavours hit shelves at Woolworths and IGA independents. A spokesperson for Pringles said the Wesfarmers’ owned chain had opted not to participate in the product launch. Coles did not respond to a request for comment, but CEO John Durkan has previously indicated the supermarket giant’s interest in simplifying its cold grocery range, reducing SKUs. The flavours will be launched at the same time and have been timed to coincide with AFL finals, taking place through September.
