The accident happened at the Hungry Jack’s on Kings Way about 8.15am.
DRIVE-THRU took on a whole new meaning when a motorist smashed into a Hungry Jack’s on busy Kings Way this morning.
Emergency crews were called to the fast food outlet and petrol station about 8am.
It’s believed the male driver accidentally accelerated after pulling up to the petrol bowser, which sent the car through the window of the Hungry Jack’s.
A man who was at the scene moments after the smash said a Hungry Jack’s customer had been eating near where the crash happened.
“The vehicle, from what I was told, missed him narrowly,” the man said.
It’s believed the driver was not injured and managed to call 000 himself.
