There is a huge opportunity to attract the growing number of shoppers ‘topping up’

  • Currently 73% of Australians do some form of top-up shopping.

Discounters are growing worldwide however Australian P&C stores are in a strong position to fight back

  • 18% of Australian shoppers are visiting P&C stores for top up shopping, compared to 6% visiting discounters.

Shoppers trust the P&C channel for their food-to-go – it’s time to move from good to great!

  • Nearly half of the Australian population buy food/drinks-to-go – it remains an important focus in Australia
