The voting system for the AACS Board will be electronic this year, so the voting will take place prior to the AGM planned for November 12th. We are now calling for nominations for the AACS Board. Details of the voting system will be sent separately over coming weeks.

AACS Supplier Board Member Selection – Key Criteria
The AACS board continues to strive to build capability and expertise among our board members to better serve our membership and to meet all the necessary obligations under the corporations act and under Australian Securities and Investment Commission for which we are registered.
Although all Non-Executive Directors of AACS are volunteers, we dedicate our time to serve on the board for the improvement of our industry. We are seeking Directors who are passionate about the success of our industry, who are willing and capable to actively participate in the governance and the programs of the association, and who will represent our members interests with integrity.
To be considered for selection, nominees will be assessed against the following criteria;
Personal Criteria

• Executive – reports to or has access to CEO
• In current position which has direct influence on the P&C channel
• Broad Retail and/or FMCG experience
• Tertiary education, business acumen and financial literacy required
• Track Record of support to industry
• Fit with Board- leadership values and behaviours aligned
• Non-Executive Director Experience on an ASIC registered board*

 
Company Criteria

• Supplier’s company is a leader in our Industry and a paid up Member of AACS
• Diverse c-store category representation on the board

*Non-Executive Director experience criteria will be waived, if the nominee consents to formal Director training within 18 months of joining the board
