This new flagship service station marks a milestone in Circle K’s eMobility journey with 26 Ultra-Fast charging points and customer-inspired design.
Located southwest of Stockholm in Sweden, Circle K has unveiled its newest flagship service station in Järna, marking a significant milestone in the company’s eMobility journey.
Spanning 30,000 square meters and featuring 26 ultra-fast charging points for light and heavy vehicles, the station is Circle K’s largest EV charging location worldwide.
And, we’re delighted to reveal that Järna will be one of Circle K’s candidates for our ‘Best EV Hub in the World‘ 2025 competition, sponsored by Vontier and Visa.
Hans-Olav Høidahl, EVP European Operations and Global eMobility, commented on the milestone:
“Our customers are at the heart of our eMobility journey at Circle K. Our newest location in Järna represents our commitment to making our customers’ EV journey as easy and convenient as possible, offering not only a charging opportunity but a complete retail experience. This is an exciting moment for our team in Sweden and our global organization as we continue to build a leading position in the European EV charging market and become our customer’s preferred on-the-go charging destination.”

The new flagship service station in Järna, designed with direct customer input, addresses their needs with a range of innovative features.
The station includes a covered charging area with solar panels, benches at the charging points, and atmospheric lighting.
Additionally, it features clearly marked crosswalks for increased safety, and a drive-through solution for faster and more convenient charging.
The store also offers a wide range of food and beverage options, along with a convenient car-side delivery service that allows customers to order and have their food delivered without leaving their car.
All grades of standard fuel are available, making it a one-stop destination for both electric and combustion engine vehicle drivers.
Looking ahead, Høidahl added, “we are also excited to further expand our EV charging network in Sweden later this spring in Gårda, where we will open the first Circle K location to be exclusively dedicated to electric vehicle charging.”
As Circle K expands its EV charging infrastructure across Europe and North America, stations like Circle K Järna and Circle K Gårda represent the company’s vision for the future: combining innovative technology, sustainable energy, and customer-focused design to make EV journeys as seamless as possible.
With over 16,700 locations globally, Circle K is uniquely positioned to support the growing transition to electric mobility.
