Today we are proud to announce Suntory Oceania, a new partnership between Beam Suntory and Frucor Suntory which will create a new multi-beverage powerhouse across Australia and New Zealand.
This is just the start of our journey, with the partnership set to be operational in the Australian market from July 2025 and New Zealand from January 2026.
Unlocked by our diverse talent, market-leading brands, and commitment to quality craftsmanship, our combined scale will position us as Oceania’s fourth largest beverage player. With over 40 market-leading brands, we will offer consumer beverage moments from sunrise to sunset, fueling fun, energy and connection and elevating the everyday so they can celebrate responsibly.
Under the umbrella of Suntory Oceania, we will manage our full portfolio of alcohol and non-alcohol beverages. This portfolio will be powered by two local manufacturing sites, five distribution centres and more than 1500 Suntorians.
As One Suntory, we are pursuing an opportunity to grow our business alongside our partners, igniting the beverage category through innovation and seamless execution.
Together, we will bring the best of Suntory to Oceania.
A multi-beverage partnership of this scale takes time to make a reality.
Critical to the delivery of our One Suntory Vision is our new, net-zero Swanbank Manufacturing Facility in Ipswich Queensland which Frucor announced in March 2022. This new +$400 million, 17-hectare greenfield site is the largest single FMCG investment into Australia in the last decade.
Working alongside our portfolio production sites in New Zealand, North America, Europe and Japan – full ownership of our supply chain allows us to respond with greater agility to market needs and expand our capability and capacity.
