Woolworths has honed in on an offer for its Petrol division, from British-based retailer EG Group, which is seeking to get a foothold in the Australian market, according to media sources. It is understood EG Group has been officially declared “preferred” and both parties are working towards a deal being announced as early as Tuesday. Sources: AFR.
