Accredited Distributors Celebrates 40 years in Business

Celebrating 40 years in business and 21 trade shows, Accredited Distributors wanted to create something for their retailers and suppliers. With the theme of the 1970’s where it all began, suppliers, retailers and guests were encouraged to dress to impress in their best 70’s outfits for Accredited’s 40th birthday festivities held on Friday 22 July.
Guests were transported back in time from the moment they arrived and boarded the 1970’s buses fully decked out with lights, sound and 70’s music.
Held at the Luminaire South Melbourne, the venue was themed in an all-out lavish Studio 54 New York dance club. A massive explosion of confetti and cascading waterfall of fireworks kicked off the evening for the 300 party goers. The spectacular fire show and bottle throwing was breathtaking and everyone was enthralled with the 2000 bubbles per minute falling from the ceiling and the array of cocktails mixed by the outstanding Liquid Infusion.
Paris and her wonderful dancers exploded onto the fluoro light-changing 70s disco dance floor and for the next 4 hours retailers, suppliers, staff and guests danced the night away. The outfits, costumes and atmosphere was electric as elegant food, flowing champagne and many Red Bull & Bundaberg Ginger cocktails were downed by everyone .
The night was extra special when Craig Bain, Managing Director and Stuart Hobbs, Executive Director, invited Founder and Honoured Guest, Terry Booth, to the stage to share a few words and stories from the humble beginnings of Accredited Distributors and announce the 2016 Award winners.
